Five O'clock Club

Join my “Five O’clock Club” as a way to dig into the Word on a daily basis.  Write this part of your plan down:  “I’m going to get up at five o’clock every morning so I can read two chapters in the Old Testament and five chapters in Psalms, Proverbs, and the New Testament.”
       You read that plan every day and begin to act on what it says.  Soon the plan gets down on the inside of you.  When five o’clock in the morning comes, you can’t keep lying in bed.  You may lie there for a little while and argue with yourself, but finally you get up and start reading the Word.  The more you do that, the more your desire grows to get into the Word, and the easier it becomes to stay faithful to your plan.
       You may decide to memorize scriptures on success and prosperity.  Write that plan down.  Even if you’re a slow learner, you can memorize one scripture a week.  Then at the end of the year, you will have 52 scriptures planted in your heart on success and prosperity!
      Once you reach that point, I challenge you to try to think negatively as you’re driving down the road!  Instead of letting your mind wander into negative thoughts of doubt and worry, you’ll start developing the habit of praying positive results.
      When you pray positive results according to God’s promises, positive things are going to happen!  How do I know that?  Because I believe the Bible when it says, 
“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”  
(Proverbs 23:7)
      It’s time to get into God’s Word and establish your plan for attaining a life of prosperity and abundance.
      It doesn’t matter if you have felt like a born loser all your life.  It doesn’t even matter if you’ve failed a thousand times.  Philippians 3:13 tells you to forget about those things that are back there in the past.  Just forget about every past failure and mistake, and press on in God.  He has a successful future planned just for you.  It’s a new day!
